After the long and eventful ride (or drive) from southern Europe, you can look forward to some relaxing days at ETR CampAlta, where you can unwind and recharge in these beautiful surroundings by the Alta River, before taking the last stage of the ETR, to Nordkapp. Before you leave, you can also reserve a cabin for your return trip from Nordkapp, a couple of days later.

ETR CAMP ALTA, FINNMARK, NORWAY

With 120 rooms spread over 5 floors, the bunker holds approximately 3,000m² of exhibition space, and temporary exhibitions are planned in close cooperation with with artists such as Olafur Eliasson, Elmgreen and Dragset, Robert Kusmirowski, Sarah Lucas, and Tobias Rehberger. A 500m² penthouse extension at roof level provides living space for the art collector and his family.

Every year, we take the short ride from Denmark to the Hanseatic town of Lübeck in northern Germany, to check out the annual Hanse-Weekend motorbike event. After a great start in 2009, and over 200,000 visitors and 15,000 motorbikers in 2010, they expected around 25,000 motorbikes this year, from all over northern Europe and Scandinavia.

The Norwegian Olympic Museum is the only museum in Northern Europe that presents a comprehensive history of both the Summer and Winter Olympics. Eidsvoll was the site where the constitutional assembly met, to draft and sign the Constitution of Norway, on the 17th of May, 1814. The building (Eidsvollbygningen) in which the meetings were held, is a famous museum today.
